    Forklift Operator Training (1 Day)

Ensure your operators meet OSHA regulations for safe forklift operation with our comprehensive 1-day Safety on the Move program. Our small classes provide focused, individualized attention, covering essential topics like operating basics, load handling, safety devices, and daily checklist inspections. Need to address facility-specific circumstances? We’ll customize the training to include exactly what your team needs to stay safe.

For the most relevant, real-world experience and to comply with OSHA regulations, this program is exclusively delivered on-site at your facility, using your equipment.

The 3-Step Process for OSHA Compliance

  • Icon: Person sitting in front of open laptop.

    Step 1: Formal Classroom

Your team starts in the classroom with the foundation and must-knows about forklift operation—different types in your fleet, how the controls work, lift and deposit loads, important safety rules and more.

We offer this learning in a way that works for you: in-person with our experienced trainers or through our flexible online eLearning program.
  • Icon: Hand with palm out in the middle of circle.

    Step 2: Practical Demonstration

Next up is putting that knowledge into action. Under the guidance of our certified trainers, your operators will get behind the controls of a forklift to practice essential maneuvers and learn safe operating techniques.

For a realistic and space-saving alternative to traditional hands-on forklift practice, explore our Virtual Reality (VR) Simulator with over 250 lessons.
  • Icon: Certificate with ribbon in the middle.

    Step 3: Evaluation

Finally, our trainers will evaluate each operator’s ability to safely and competently operate the forklift in situations relevant to your specific workplace. This ensures they can apply what they’ve learned effectively. Upon successful completion, your company and operator will receive a certificate for your records, and we’ll also keep a record on file. We can conduct this evaluation for initial certification or the required recertification every three years (or sooner if needed to address performance).

Maximize your fleet’s potential with iWAREHOUSE (iW) telematics. Beyond operator training, our iW connected technology platform provides powerful tools to optimize your forklift fleet, offering alerts on impacts, simplified maintenance management and efficient operator checklist administration.

With the increasing use of automated vehicles like automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and even autonomous floor scrubbers, ANSI requires pedestrian training for all personnel working near them.
